Feeding bodies, minds and souls

The statistics are staggering. In the last 15 years, the homeless population in Cincinnati has increased 150%. The childhood poverty rate here is the third highest in America with a devastating 48% of Cincinnati’s children living in poverty. Loss of income and lack of affordable housing have driven people out of their homes and into the streets. Nearly a third of the homeless population

are families with children. There are faces behind these numbers — faces of people who are hungry in body, mind and soul. City Gospel Mission is there to bring the hope of Jesus Christ to nurture them as “whole” people.

This is how transformation happens.
